- Effigy, a new piece of work written by Treasa Nealon and performed by Órla McSharry, will be shown as part of Splódar Theatre Company Women In Theatre Evening. See it in The Glens Centre this Saturday!

- There is still time to sign up for the Paved By Poetry Workshops which start on Sunday the 27th and Wednesday the 30th. - Celebrate Poetry Day in The Glens Art Centre with our reading of the work created through the Paved By Poetry Workshops. You’ll even have the opportunity to create your own work which will be featured in an online booklet. The Paved By Poetry is supported and funded by Poetry Ireland / Éigse Éireann.

Henshaw’s work fosters dialogue on human-nature connections, emphasising stewardship of the Earth and raising awareness of environmental justice. The exhibition combines art with activism, aiming to inspire action for future generations. It also features contributions from Valerie Whitworth, musician/ sound therapist; Michael Cummins, visual artist & lighting/set designer; Paddy McEneaney actor & writer of Exit Does Theatre & film maker David Spence. Exhibition launch: Friday 2 May, 5-8pm Leitrim Sculpture Centre, Manorhamilton.


This is bound to be a fascinating talk full of insights and history of our area so join us Friday, April 25th 2pm - 4pm. There is a €5 charge to include tea and refreshments.

A new book hub!
The newly opened library on Main Street, Dromahar, is now open. See the opening times below. Also there is a weekly Breastfeeding support group every Tuesday.

In collaboration with Leitrim County Council & The Leitrim Gathering. Manorhamilton Country Jamboree is back for a second date this year! May 24th is the date, and the Main Street is the location for what will be another fantastic celebration in the town. The Leitrim Gathering is a celebration of Leitrim’s diversity & richness. The Gathering brings Leitrim people together worldwide. Leitrim extends an invitation to experience the charm of small-town life amidst some of Ireland’s most picturesque settings

- There are Bowls every Wednesday evening at Killenummery Community Centre (F91AY28) from 7.30pm to 9.30pm for both male & female. Bring a pair of indoor shoes.
- Every Tuesday evening 9pm there is Progressive 25 Cards at Killenummery Community Centre at 9pm. Bring a partner.
- Keepfit Classes every Monday evening at 6pm and chair exercise class every Wednesday at 12 noon.
- Pilates every Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm and 8pm to 9pm.

It's done good & early of a Saturday - Glenfarne Parkrun
Parkrun is a social, non competitive, family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome to walk, jog or run 5km. It continues in Glenfarne Woods every Saturday morning at 9.30am. For more information see Glenfarne Parkrun on facebook or to sign up go to ParkRun.ie
