Definitely worth a look
Sacred Landscapes is an exhibition by Di Henshaw that advocates for nature’s political representation and environmental justice. Inspired by philosopher Jane Bennett, Henshaw’s drawings reflect non-human perspectives and highlight the risks of Flintridge Resources Ltd.’s gold prospecting in North County Leitrim, which threatens local ecosystems. This contrasts with the activist group Treasure Leitrim, which promotes sustainability.

Henshaw’s work fosters dialogue on human-nature connections, emphasising stewardship of the Earth and raising awareness of environmental justice. The exhibition combines art with activism, aiming to inspire action for future generations. It also features contributions from Valerie Whitworth, musician/ sound therapist; Michael Cummins, visual artist & lighting/set designer; Paddy McEneaney actor & writer of Exit Does Theatre & film maker David Spence. The Exhibition runs until May 31st at the Leitrim Sculpture Centre, Manorhamilton.
