Josie Martin Scholarship Award – €1,000 Student Support

At Manorhamilton & District Credit Union, we recognise that third-level education can place a heavy financial strain on students and their families. The Josie Martin Scholarship Award is here to help.

We are offering a €1,000 student award to support with costs such as registration fees, rent, travel, bills, or books.


Who Can Apply?

  • First-time or current third-level students attending a recognised college in Ireland this autumn.

  • You must be a member of Manorhamilton & District Credit Union (Not yet a member? Join today or call 071 9855500 or drop in to our Office on the Main Street).

  • The award is open to students from Manorhamilton, North Leitrim, Blacklion, and surrounding areas.


How to Apply

  1. Fill out the application form below.

  2. Provide confirmation of your third-level acceptance.

    • First-time students: until you receive your CAO/college offer, simply put “N/A” under Course Information.

    • Current students: please fill in your course details.

Only one student will be selected for the €1,000 scholarship. The award is granted for one academic year only.


About the Josie Martin Scholarship

The scholarship is named in memory of Josie Martin and is run by Manorhamilton & District Credit Union in partnership with Leitrim Local Enterprise Office (LEO). It continues our commitment to supporting young people in Leitrim as they pursue their education and future careers.
