Women Shaping Local Futures Programme
Starting on Thursday 5th March 7-9pm: This is a FREE programme and is a blended learning experience made up of 5 online group sessions and an overnight residential in Sligo.
Let's celebrate and support women in our community, come join Women's Collective - North Leitrim Women's Centre to meet other women from Leitrim and Donegal to support each other in our new women's empowerment and learning programme.
The Women Shaping Local Futures Programme is a supportive space to share and express your thoughts and views, grow confidence together and recognise your own community leadership skills. Over the course of the programme you will explore what community leadership means and develops your skills and confidence. Discuss and learn about local government structures in Ireland, explore equality and human rights issues, think critically about lived experiences, gender equality and issues that hold back women’s equality and participation in society. Exploring ways to empower and support those affected by gender discrimination.
Online sessions will run (7–9pm) on the following dates:
