Culture Night at the Organic Centre, Friday Sep 19th.
Screening of award winning documentary. BirdSong, charting the inspirational journey of Sean Ronayne, and his mission to record the sound of every bird species in Ireland.

An Apple a Day
Apple Day Festival at the Organic Centre. Sunday 28th, 12-4pm. Free entry. Back with all the seasonal sights and smells that make up its famous event, on the centres 30th anniversary. Talks and tours from the apple experts like their v own Phil Wheal and speakers including grape expert Andrew Watson, for a workshop in the tunnels. Step back in time with craft demos, basket weaving and hand spinning, alongside the centre piece of apple pressing. Meet the visiting alpacas who are due to return. Browse the teeming array of local stalls of sustainable crafts and food indoors and outdoors around the building. With plenty for the family to enjoy including heritage games from 'Heritage Crafts Alive' and crafts. The Grass Roof Cafe is open for lunch, with some apple delights included on the menu.

Parkrun is a social, non competitive, family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome to walk, jog or run 5km. It continues in Glenfarne Woods every Saturday morning at 9.30am.
